The Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity at Duke University will host a screening of the documentary The Legacy of Dr. Benjamin E. Mays on Thursday, November 12, 2026 (5:30pm – 8:00pm). The Legacy of Dr. Benjamin E. Mays is produced and presented by Left Side of the Lion Media, a production company founded by executive producer and director Ron Worthem.  Narrated by the late Louis Gossett Jr., the film explores the life, education, and civil rights leadership of Dr. Mays.
